During the thursday night field rehearsal before homecoming 2010 or 2011, the tubae were, as usual, dicking around, and they found a phone underneath the back bleachers. They had no idea why a phone would be there, so they took it home, like any reasonable person would do. Two days later, during the homecoming game against Bucknell, Bucknell's coaching staff was frantically running around and waving their arms up to the press box. Turns out, they tubae had taken the phone to call the press box, so Bucknell had no way to communicate with the press box. Cornell ended up winning that game, but that win was because of the tubas.
